Dear Bill:
I found the information for your reading so fascinating! I can see why you’re having trouble finding a direction & purpose, but I’ll show you how to fix that here in the reading.
As far as your concern about your friend, I need to ask you a question. Do you believe in past lives? Because I show that you have a powerful & unusual physical connection to this man from a previous lifetime. One in which you were lovers. Of course, in every lifetime, we all experience every possible kind of life - rich, poor, male, female, warrior, peaceful...everything. And I show in an American past life you had a connection with your friend that included community positions of power and authority. Probably leadership. Because the connection was so deeply psychologically based, it appears you have some residual memory of it that haunts you today. If you can wrap your mind around this personal history of yours and realize that your historical time together was another life and another set of lessons, you’ll begin to see that your current lifetime is about the lesson of letting go. The two of you had unfinished work in this lifetime, but it was the work of letting go and starting a new life.
In this current lifetime you were born an Aquarian, and those of us with this energies influence are gifted with the ability to step aside and see the bigger picture. Because you were so closely bonded with your friend in the past, you do have the resources to be able to look at “the bigger picture” and realize that your lessons of closeness then are as important as your lessons of letting go now. It’s strange, but sometimes we all, and I do mean all, get so caught up in what we want, when we want it, that we miss the obvious - which is, those we love will be with us lifetime after lifetime, forever and ever, and in many different personalities and situations. It’s not the end.
I noticed that you have a very psychic or intuitive emotional ability and no matter where your friend is, you can connect emotionally at any time. However, there is a danger of becoming so consumed by this psychic connection that you fail to thrive in the rest of your life. How do you know if you are consumed? Ask yourself, how’s my work life, social life, family life, hobbies and interests? If all your time is spent psychically trying to find your friend, you have lost the meaning of your life. Which leads me to your other question about your sense of emptiness.
You have major contributions and experiences to look forward to in your life. Let me give you some examples:
You are gifted, truly and powerfully through the abilities of your mind. Some might call you genius, others a mad scientist. Ah well, not to worry. You just have such a large, curious brain that is searching for the meaning of life and purpose that sometimes you can miss the smaller details. My suggestion for you is to recognize that there is a bigger picture and purpose to your life and then start looking for the details, or puzzle pieces, that make up the bigger picture. Read up on the subjects with people like Deepak Chopra, Gary Zukav and watch movies that help you find purpose and meaning. Try the older movie, Made In Heaven. Sometimes we can best find our way by seeing where others have gone before. If it resonates as truth with us, then others have helped show us the way.
Let me show you what I mean.
Use your mind and knowledge to teach others. Teach them what? How to fill the hole in their soul. Because that’s exactly what you’re experiencing right now. For some of us, we try to fill that hole through drinking, drugs, despair, hopelessness, worry, TV or anything that will numb our longing and need for understanding life. You, of all people, need meaning and purpose. You’re a born teacher. You know a lot, in fact more than people give you credit for. You may be book wise or street smart, or both, but you know much! My suggestion for a solution is to find a means of teaching what you know. You need a career that will lead you to teach others about life. Maybe as a counselor, or psychic, or job trainer, or personality assessor, or past life regressionist. But I’m telling you Bill, that once you find an outlet to teach what you know, and to include some form of spirituality in it, whether that means religion or nature or love or God, or Buddha, or whatever, you will find that a purpose fills that hole in your soul.
You need a career & profession that will allow you to extend a hand to others and help them up. It’s part of your purpose. Where to begin?
Right here. What are your 3 favorite skills that you love. Example - I’m a pretty good cook, but I don’t love it. I’d rather teach. That’s what Aquarians do. My best skills are teaching, communication and research.
Next - what are your 3 favorite values? Mine are kindness, spirituality and forgiveness & accountability. OK, maybe that’s 4 :) Look at what I’ve done with those values in finding my Life’s Work. I am a professional psychic, author and radio host who teaches others how to discover & achieve their Life’s Work by letting go of the belief that they are victims. How did I know what kind of professional life to choose? Some years ago I was right where you are now. I just prayed and told God I was desperate and floundering without purpose. True story. And then I asked for help and started looking for the signs. I was willing to follow where those signs lead and here I am. What I actually did was put the God of my understanding in charge, keep my eyes & ears open, and follow the lead. Oh yeah, and I gave up drinking. I was sick with the disease of alcoholism. The miracles have been so profoundly awakening for me that I know they will be for you too, Jay. Today I teach others to jump out of the role of victim, no matter what their past experiences, and become accountable for their own happiness and future, with the help of a God of their understanding. No one and nothing can stop us, unless we remain a victim.
Because we tend to be such brainiacs, Aquarians have a desperate need to become practical and start making money with our brains. We need to ask for help. We need a role model. We need to study those who have gone before us and have made the kind of success we want. Did you know that Abraham Lincoln, an Aquarian, ran for many offices, prior to becoming president, and lost most of them? He didn’t think of himself as a victim, but kept right on moving forward. He couldn’t afford to stay stuck in his mind and take no action. He had work to do and a purpose. You’re the same way. You can’t afford to stay stuck in your mind. You have purpose and work to do.
Lots of times we end up teaching what we most needed to learn ourselves. For you, from what I can see in your reading, it would be about teaching people to take action. To find what THEY love and go after it. Not necessarily the family business, or what parents or teachers told you to do, but what YOU love to do. Maybe it’s sports, maybe it’s competition, maybe it’s about money and buying things. Who knows? Your soul knows and you can find purpose as you begin to connect spiritually and look for the signs.

Now, onto the rest of your reading...
I promise you, that feeling of emptiness will leave you when you find a way to help others through your skills, values and interests. By the way, what are your interests? You can make a meaningful career out of those interests. Your problem is narrowing your choices, because of your natural curiosity about EVERYTHING!
The biggest secret you need to know is that when you find a purpose-driven career, your love life will follow suit. For you, meaningful work and a meaningful love life are tightly intertwined. I do see you taking the necessary steps to begin finding your Life’s Work, before the end of the month. It looks like October is going to be very powerful for you career-wise, so if you start today, you can plan on about 6 weeks of researching and planning before you really get direction driven.
Expect change in the next 12 months and don’t let it frighten you. You’re very good at hanging in there when you have a direction to go and I do see you as perfectly able and willing to do whatever it takes to find your own personal success. Some people give up before the miracle happens, but not you. You have drive, stamina and the willingness to succeed at whatever you set your mind to. Once you get your direction heading, I see you becoming VERY successful in a career. Like I said before, your only obstacle is narrowing your field of choices. Pick one. Any one and go for it. If your career plan needs tweaking along the way, you’re adaptable enough to change course and keep going.
It looks like you would do well in work where you are either the owner of the business, or if in partnership, that you are the major planner. You’re the idea man. And your ideas seem to POUR in when you are spiritually connected. Let me give you an example of how this works.
One day I noticed that whenever I moved my neck left and right it made a creaking noise. I didn’t know what the problem was, so as I went to sleep that night I prayed for guidance to know how I should fix it. The next morning, just as I was waking up, sort of ½ way between asleep & awake, I “heard” the words, fish oil tablets. So, I started taking one a day and within about a week, the problem was solved. That’s God helping me find solutions.
Another example: Just this week I had misplaced my little bag that had my driver’s license and gym card in it. I checked everywhere, but couldn’t find it. So I prayed, rather quickly, as I was busy, and asked for help in finding it. It was almost as if I were being lead by the hand, out to my trash can, where I found it in amongst the trash. I had accidentally dropped it in with the outgoing trash that day.
The reason I tell you these 2 stories is because THIS IS HOW IT WORKS! :) All you, Bill, have to do is get connected to find your way. Doors will open, advice will be received and seeming coincidences will happen right & left until you get to where you want to go.
Start right now in letting go of the need to control your relationship with your friend. Whatever will be, will be. In the meantime, refocus your energies on your career. If you have any addictions to let go of, get help & let them go. Take a deep breath and start moving. You have only success ahead of you.
